MIDWEST TEAM

Erick Ewaskowitz

Erick is passionate about helping leaders discover and live out God’s unique calling on their lives. He currently serves as the Superintendent of the North Michigan Conference of the Free Methodist Church. Additionally, Erick is the Director of Coaching for Mission Igniter, a church-planting incubator that provides holistic support for new churches. As part of this role, Erick works with planters to develop and implement vision plans for their new church, as well as consulting with existing churches, helping them clarify their vision and grow in their missional effectiveness. Previously, Erick pastored churches in Michigan and Illinois. He is currently working on a Doctor of Ministry in Organizational Leadership at Asbury Theological Seminary and has served as an adjunct professor for Olivet Nazarene University and Spring Arbor University.  Erick has been married to his wife Bekki since October 2004, and together, they have three boys: Noah, William, and Miles. They currently live in Portage, MI. 

Derik Heumann

Derik has  20+ years of experience leading himself, teams, and organizations. Derik has served and held positions within churches, non-profits, and academic institutions. Derik currently serves as the Director of Training with Mission Igniter. Derik is an Apostle-Teacher, a  lifelong learner, an entrepreneurial leader, a collaborative catalyst and an ordained pastor in the Free Methodist Church.

Derik holds M.Div. and M.A. degrees, along with a leadership certificate from Asbury Theological Seminary. He is a certified coach and trainer through Auxano, Dynamic Church Planting International (DCPI), Forge America, and Mission Igniter. Derik is an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation working towards his Professional Certified Coach Credential.

Derik, his wife Kim, and 3 children live in Ann Arbor, Michigan where he planted and pastors Evergreen Church, a multiplying network of micro-churches in the Southern Michigan Conference of the Free Methodist Church.

Dwight Weber

Dwight brings over 43 years of dedicated ministry experience, advancing the Kingdom through the local church. He has faithfully served congregations ranging in size from 75 to 1,400 as Lead Pastor, Solo Pastor, and Executive Pastor. His leadership blends passion, insight, and discernment, coupled with a deep commitment to mentoring the next generation of leaders. With a strong apostolic gifting, Dwight approaches his coaching with vision, purpose, and a focus on Kingdom impact.

A lifelong champion of the local church, Dwight is passionate about equipping and encouraging pastors and church planters. In 2019, he joined the team of Mission Igniter and currently serves as Director of Mobilization and Assessments. In this capacity, he guides leaders to discover their God-given design and navigate the complexities of ministry in a rapidly changing world.

Beyond his work with Mission Igniter, Dwight partners with several social agencies in the Elkhart, Indiana area, serving as a neighborhood missionary. His heart for community engagement, combined with his pastoral and coaching expertise, positions him to make a lasting impact both inside and outside the church walls.

 

WEST COAST TEAM

Sally Lee

Sally is the Chief Operating Officer of Mission Igniter and a consultant and coach to church planters and ministry leaders. An ordained Elder in the Free Methodist Church and endorsed Community Chaplain, Sally has helped launch multiple Dinner Churches, supported congregational turnarounds, and guided leaders in multiplication strategy at the Conference level.

Before entering full-time ministry, she held leadership roles in the automotive industry, specializing in organizational change, project management, and strategic planning. This unique blend of marketplace expertise and pastoral experience allows her to help leaders navigate both organizational and spiritual growth.

Sally is completing ACC ICF Coach credentialling, and graduate of the Asbury FMC Church Planting Institute. She holds a B.S. in Genetics & Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in International Marketing.

STEVE FISH

Steve has served in vocational ministry in the Free Methodist Church since 1996 and is the lead pastor of a multisite church in Sedro-Woolley, Washington. He is certified in Auxano Vision Planning and the Multiplier Journey, with a passion for helping churches. Steve is also a trained coach, holds a degree in marketing, and is currently pursuing an MBA. He and his wife, Dana, have five children and one granddaughter. In addition to ministry, Steve and Dana have operated a small business consulting and accounting firm since 2003, helping small business owners successfully start and grow their businesses.

At North Cascades Christian Fellowship, Steve has recently led the church through the Multipliers Journey, which was a transformative experience that has empowered leaders to embrace the church’s vision and invest in multiplying disciples. Their goal is to start ten new expressions of church in the next ten years. When he’s not pastoring, consulting, or studying, Steve enjoys riding motorcycles both on and off road, as well as photography.

Annie Bailey Roberts

Annie has an MA in Professional Leadership Coaching and is an ordained minister. She and her husband are Lead Pastors of Union Church—a new church plant in Tacoma, WA—and she is a mom to two amazing kids with wolfpack energy.
As a Leadership Coach, Annie empowers leaders across industries through coaching, speaking, and writing. Her work centers on leadership and identity, building healthy and diverse teams, and championing women and next-generation leaders as they pursue meaningful impact.

When she’s not leading or coaching, Annie can be found enjoying basketball, gardening, and going on bird-watching walks with her family.

Dustin Weber

Dustin serves as the Director of Mission Igniter, a national church multiplication incubator that empowers leaders and networks to start and grow new expressions of the church. Mission Igniter supports planters and churches through recruiting, training, coaching, and systems for sustainable multiplication.

A passionate advocate for holistic church planting, Dustin has served as a stateside church planter, local church lead pastor, and international missionary. He is deeply committed to seeing the whole gospel bring transformation to whole communities.

Dustin holds a B.A. in Philosophy and Religion from Spring Arbor University and an M.A. in Biblical Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary. He is an ordained elder in the Free Methodist Church – USA.
