Planter’s Journey
Forming the planter. Clarifying the vision. Building a faithful foundation.
The Planter’s Journey is a guided training experience for church planters that applies first-century church planting principles to present-day contexts. Drawing from Church Plantology, this journey integrates spiritual formation, contextual discernment, and strategic clarity as planters begin developing their own multiplication plan.
This is more than training—it’s a formative journey that helps planters build sustainably and faithfully from the start.
Free Methodist leaders in the credentialing track can take this course for credit through the FMCUSA Center for Pastoral Formation.

Vision Framing is a guided process that helps leadership teams clearly articulate their mission, values, strategy, and measures of success. Led by a certified Auxano Vision Strategist, this process creates shared language and alignment so leaders can make wise decisions, set priorities, and lead with clarity.
Vision Planning Retreats
Turning vision into actionable plans.
Vision Planning Retreats help churches translate clarity into action using the Horizon Storyline framework. Through focused, collaborative sessions, leadership teams establish long-term direction, near-term priorities, and concrete next steps that align daily ministry with the church’s broader calling.
The Multipliers Journey
Aligning vision, strategy, and systems around multiplication.
The Multipliers Journey, developed in partnership with Exponential and Auxano, helps churches build a clear vision and actionable plan to multiply disciples, mobilize leaders, and launch new ministries. Using proven tools from Vision Framing and Vision Planning, this journey equips churches to align mission, strategy, and systems around multiplication.
Churches may participate through a cohort experience or individual engagement, depending on their context and goals.
