Jiran Collective

Jiran Collective seeks to make Jesus’ love tangible to Arab refugees and immigrants by showing courageous compassion and facilitating transformational community.

Jiran facilitates space for the Holy Spirit to shift paradigms and break down prejudice. We facilitate space to neighbor across dividing lines, be it ethnic, religious, or even denominational. We facilitate space for listening to the Spirit and receiving His transformational work in our lives. We facilitate space where strangers become neighbors and neighbors become family. We demonstrate and proclaim the Gospel as we live incarnationally amongst our newest neighbors (refugees and immigrants); offer compassionate action; partner in bridge-building community efforts; as well as facilitate a non-threatening space for people to discover and discuss who Jesus says He is in Scripture. We seek to follow Jesus across dividing lines as far and as wide as The Kingdom of God… does, can and will REIGN.
