Multiply Intensive Training

Join us for a 3-day regional gathering of church multipliers!  During this event participants will receive practical training on church planting models, strategic planning, fundraising, creating a dynamic new church culture and more!  These three days are designed to provide the basic tools for leaders of new churches. Participants will also have the opportunity to network and pray with other like-minded regional church planters and experience the great city of Detroit through an immersion experience.  You don’t want to miss this inaugural gathering as we envision together a multiplication movement in our region!

Team Up with Forge

Forge gives itself as a servant to the local church. As we have sought to listen and learn from pastors and leaders throughout the country, we have heard many express similar longings to see everyday individuals mobilized into the spaces they inhabit. The hope is for a movement of God’s people to embrace their opportunity and calling to join Him in His redemptive mission in the places they live, work, and play. To this end, Forge creates partnerships with the local church to mobilize people and pioneer new expressions of the church across neighborhoods, networks, work spaces, & third spaces.

Join us March 27 as we train you to utilize the Forge training within your context and local church.

Matching Grants

The multiplication matching grant exists to encourage and empower Southern Michigan churches and and leaders to multiply churches. Grants are provided to selected new initiatives based on their proposed plans and the availability of funds. Multiplication grants are for the express purpose of reaching new groups of people with the gospel and organizing them in new churches on mission. Initiatives which are seeking funding should be working amongst unchurched (and dechurched) people to establish new churches.

Journey of Faith Community is on the move and is excited to see God answering your prayers for the 10/36 Initiative. God is opening doors for the Journey of Faith Community to begin their first groups. In just the last month, the door has opened for them to start multiple groups at the Lincoln Senior center, one for just seniors and several for adults of all ages. They’ve also received the go-ahead to start groups at the public library which will be open to families. As the number of groups increase, we look forward to their first monthly celebration service in January. This will be held in a local elementary school.

You can learn more about Journey of Faith on Facebook or their webpage. You can also give financially to Journey of Faith here.
